Looks like my friends and customers love it too! I want to thank all of you for coming out and showing me some love on the new blog, even though I am sure most of you really just wanted to win the chocolate, right?!! Just teasing. I totally appreciate the shout outs and am excited to announce the 3 lucky winners of a box of European chocolates.
Tiff, Jenn Bennett and Peggy are the 3 winners!
I have an assortment of Lindt chocolate bunnies, chocolate truffles, and more ready to send off to you ladies. I will be heading to the post office with your boxes on Wednesday. I will try to snap a picture of the goodies tomorrow. Or better yet, should I surprise you?
For those of you that did not win, don't worry. I am already working on the next giveaway--it will be a fun one, and I will probably throw in chocolates again as well.
I have to get back to the sewing machine now. I am 6hrs ahead of US Eastern Standard time--well actually only 5 hours for the next 2 weeks--we don't spring forward until March 25th. So it is getting late and I have a long day of wrapping orders, running errands, sewing (hopefully), oh and German lessons (joy).
Before I leave, I want to share this link to some super yummy chocolate recipes on Matthew Meade's website. I have not actually tried any of them yet, but boy do they look delish. Here is one more link for you to check out--the brownie points blog. Love the blog name and I especially love that the author--McAuliflower-is also a scientist. Here are cool instructions for making a pyramid tuffle box and the chocolate marshmallows look yummy too! I made the regular marshmallows using her recipe here. Wow, no more store bought marshmallows for us! Actually they are hard to buy over here anyway, and have usually been sitting on the shelf forever and a day, so the fresh, homemade ones are the only ones we eat now!
