I had every intention of having this post announce the opening of my new online shop today. I could actually open the shop today, but I decided to wait. Why? Well, one I am good at procrastinating. And two, I really want to get more stuff ready and have it be a wow, wow, wow, opening! I have been digging into the vintage patterns and buttons and ribbons--getting these things as well as the fabric ready for the site. I have also decided to do a super fun giveaway to celebrate the opening of the store. So instead of doing my Free Fabric Friday thing over the next couple weeks, I am going to do some gift certificates so that the winners can go into the shop and pick what they want to add to their stash! Sound good? So here is how it will work. I will launch the new shop on Monday August 6, 2007. I will give away 4 gift certificates good for purchasing anything in the new shop (I'll have fabric, patterns, vintage buttons, trims and some of my handmade items as well in there). Each gift certificate will be for $25 US. To be entered to win, you simply have to leave a comment on this post or any other post I make up until August 6, 2007. However, you can only get one entry per post. So if you comment 3 times on the same post, you only get one entry. If you comment on 3 different posts, you get 3 entries. So I'll be posting alot to get you all more chances to win. :) Also, you can only win one certificate. Just trying to spead the joy.
If this is confusing, please let me know. I am rushing to get out the door for our trip to France, so pardon the hecticness. But I wanted to share this before I head out.
Okay, now for the eye candy. Here are some pics of some of the goodies that you'll find in the shop on August 6! I'll share more sneak peeks over the next 2 weeks before the official opening.
Amazing cotton knits from the new fall European collection.
Bundle of joy--fabrics from Amy Bulter's Temple Flowers collection, some Westmisters prints, and others coordinating fabrics.
Some of the new 100% cotton cords from the Fall 2007 European collection--Yum!
Every stash needs some polka dots!
Some Moda, Lecien and Free Spirit prints.
Amy Butler, Sis Boom and coordinating dots and stripes---irresistable, I tell ya!
Sis Boom, Moda and Denyse Schmidt bundle--mercy!
Okay, enough with the pics in the post. If you want to see more sneak peeks, please check here. You can also find the pics of our trip to Brugge (I still have not gotten them all uploaded, but there are some good ones there if you want to take a peek).
I hope you all have a great weekend! I'll catch up with you all on Monday or Tuesday.
