Hey People!
Well, I am back with the giveaway...a day late...but better late than never, right!
I am a bit under the weather and moving at snail speed these days, so bare with me.
Here is the latest Giveaway...A gorgeous bag, perfect for treks to the Farmers Market, Flea Market, or regular Market even. This is so cute, you can just use it as an everyday tote, really. I know I'll be using mine on the daily for the next couple weeks! I am giving one of these away...just leave a comment on this post to enter to win...read more details at the end of this post. :)

shown, filled with cereal from the cupboard and flowers from the garden!

up close...decorative stiching and vintage mother of pearl button...love!
The Denyse Schmidt Flea Market Fancy fabric collection will go down as one of my top #3 all-time favorite collections. Seriously. It came out just as we were packing to move from New York to Germany. I got in a couple bolts just before the last box was packed. I can remember cutting some up and taking it in my air freight shipment, along with the sewing machine, serger and other crucial supplies and the first thing I made in our house in Germany (on a fold up table borrowed from my MIL) was these items below!

Man, Leah has really grown!!! My sweet girl!
I also love this little collection I made a few months later!

I sold a few of these as customs on Ebay and on another online boutique site I used to be a part of called Blossom Street. Flashbacks! These are still some of my most favorite designs and will be turned into patterns soon. As I work on the patterns, I just wish I have more yardage of this fabric. I have decided on the fabric I'll use for the patterns...but boy, do I wish I had enough yardage to redo these! They would be perfect for the pattern covers, don't you think? Leah can still fit the skirt (of course it is much shorter now, but still cute!) but all the other pieces are way too small, as I made these over 3 years ago.
Anyway, enough of the memory lane and going on and on here! Back to the giveaway!
To enter to win the bag just leave a comment on this post. I want to know, what are you working on these days. Anyone else making bags to replace the plastics at the grocery? Anybody love Flea Market Fancy as much as me, especially the red/aqua colorway!? Anyone hoping/praying it will be reprinted!lol And yes, if you are on the mailing list..you get your second entry as well. I'll use the random number generator again to select a winner. Enter by next Tuesday, May 19. I'll announce the winner on Wednesday morning.
Good luck to you!
Hugs,
Sheree

I'm working on a baby quilt using Swanky. I also love Flea Market Fancy. Is there a chance it will be reprinted?

Love your tote bag. It would make you feel happy just to walk with it.

I love the bag! I just love bags anyway! But this one is so cheerful. I have been making aprons from the legs of old jeans and fabric scraps. I've posted a few on my website recently and just finished another today. I do use the totes I bought at the grocery store for my groceries, but haven't thought to just make my own. I have some bag patterns that I just love to make and use for everything else in my life that needs toting!

I love the bag! I've made a few in the past but really should make new ones as mine are getting old and shabby! Right now I'm working on knitting a prayer shawl and sewing a quilt. I haven't been in my sewing room as much lately and am starting to feel the itch to get in there and create!

I was looking for a tutorial on bags when I saw this on flickr. It's great! What am I working on now? I printed out a pattern on line for a funky dress with a hoodie. I need a summer cover up to protect against the sun. I'm just getting back into sewing.

Hi,
I'm using the red fabric you used for your bag (but in hot pink) in Leanne Beasley's "Butterfly Garden", I've been cutting out one and a half inch strips for days.....patchwork is a bit crazy, cutting up all this beautiful fabric, just to sew it all together again!!!

Wow, you make really beautiful clothes for children! I like the bag very much as well.
I have been working on knitting socks for my mother and a doll blanket for my sister. Once those are done, I will knit a pair of socks for myself.

I love the red and aqua colorway of Flea Market Fancy too! Everything you made with it is so lovely, too! I actually am working on some fabric shopping bags as a gift. I would like to make myself some pretty ones, too, since mine are pretty plain.

The bag is darling, as always everything you do seems to be, I am a new follower!
I am currently not working on anything as I need to get my craft room organized. It's a mess and I can't accomplish anything until I do that. I do too like the red/aqua colors together. I am going to sign up to be on your mailing lists. Thanks for a chance at a fun giveaway!

The tote is darling, I love flea market fancy but started sewing after this collection had been released! I was lucky to find some small pieces of the green and pink color way but never lucky enough to find it in blue or red. The outfits you created are beautiful, as is your daughter. Feel better and thanks for the chance to win!
