Hey Friends,
I hope everyone has been well. I just wanted to pop in quick fast and let you all know I survived Quilt Market. What a blast! I was and still am so full of excitement and emotion....still pinching myself that I actually did it. I put myself out there and took a risk and accomplished something that I really wanted to do! And had fun on top of it! I can't go in to all the details, as I have Quilt Festival starting up tomorrow! But I did want to share a few images with you all. Here are some pictures while hubby was setting up things in the booth.

My booth came together almost as I planned! It reflected my style and quite frankly the amount of time I had to get this all done. I took alot of notes and will definitely be changing things next time. But not too bad for my first ever show! I liked it! Also, I found out I had a corner booth when I arrived to set up and that totally threw me for a loop, because I planned my booth around having 2 side walls!! So I lost a whole display wall...but probably gained a ton of traffic...so I can't complain. I rolled with it and did the best I could...and here are the results...a few images of my booth.

I did change the clothes on the mannequin each day. Trying to trick folks in to thinking they had not been there before!haaahhaa
I'll share more soon. I have a ton of giveaways to do as well...met so many amazing people...and caught up with some super sweet ladies that I met at last quilt market!
Before I go, I want to say a huge thank you to all of you that sent emails...wishing me well!! It was really so sweet. I'll thank you each individually when I get time next week...but do know I received the notes and they made me smile so much!!
Okay...I'd better get back to packing up the last bits for Festival. I'll be setting up the Festival tomorrow morning and then there is a Preview night tomorrow and Thurs-Sunday are full day shows. I heard that 50,000 are expected to come, but that sounds like a ridiculously large number to me. I'll let you know how it goes! If anyone is attending Festival, you can visit me in Booth number 611!!!!!! Stop by and say hi!
Oh, one more thing. I am late on this. Sorry about that...but Amy is hosting a quilting bloggers Festival. I think you can still participate? Stop by her blog to read the details!!!!
Hugs,
Sheree

Corner boothes are great! We have a booth at CES (HUGE show) and we have to pay more for a corner booth! It's all about traffic, so you lucked out. Sure, it's good to know ahead of time, but now you are a veteran so you will know what to do next time. Congratulation on a good show.

WOW! You booth came out great! Nice trick on the walker-byers. Question- do you have to take all those shelves or do they supply the "furniture"? It's seems so exciting and stressful at the same time.

It was great to run into you at QM! Your booth looked wonderful - a corner is definitely a bonus. One day, one day I'll join you there and have a booth of my own (I hope!).
All your stuff went great with the red carpeting. And such a nice hubby to be helping you set up. I fear I'll be doing it on my own. :o)
