Well, I survived both Quilt Market and Quilt Festival. What fun both shows were! I am still sort of floating in the clouds over all the excitement of launching the patterns and putting myself out there. I am hopeful that the new collection will do well and that I'll be able to launch even more patterns in a few months. I'll start doing a review of my Quilt Market and Festival experiences next week. I will also try to have pattern images on the new website next week so that those of you interested can have a more detailed look and start thinking about preordering? :)
In the meantime, will you all please wish me luck this weekend as I participate in my first ever bike ride...the Lance Armstrong Live Strong Challenge! I'll be cruising on my sweet Betsy, hoping to finish the 20 miles without any major catastrophes! Hubby is riding 90 miles...he is such a champ.
If any of you are interested in sponsoring me for the ride, you can click here. You tax deductible donation will be greatly appreciated!
I will also be putting together some fabulous scrap packs and putting them on the website and maybe Etsy, and I'll be donating the proceeds to LiveStrong. Remember, I am riding in honor of my Aunt Sandy that was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. She has finished her chemo and radiation treatments and is doing okay, slowly getting her strength back. We are so happy she has pulled through this and are hopeful she will remain cancer free. We feel so blessed that she was able to have early diagnosis and that her treatments worked so well, and are hoping to do our part to raise awareness and funding for this wonderful cause!
So again, please wish me well. I'll have a full report for you all next week and will get back to my Quilt Market and Festival reviews and some super fabulous giveaways, as well as a proper reveal of the new pattern line!
Have a wonderful weekend, folks!!
