Oh my goodness so hard to choose from your wonderful selection of prizes. I think it would be the shot cottons from Kaffe, they would be a great addition to my stash. One of my sewing goals this year is to get back into making more clothes for myself. I used to sew clothes a lot before I had children but then life gets in the way.

I'd love the it's a hoot or shot cotton prizes! My birthday is the 14th & either would make a great present!

My crafting resolution is to finish more. I really need to get better about that.

Thanks for the chance to win!

My choices would be #3 and #5! :) I love those beautiful fabrics!! My goals for the year are to sew more.. I'm still new to sewing so I need lots of practice still but I'm working on it! :)

Glad you're back - I know how the busy-ness of life can easily get in the way of our well-laid plans!

These are all great prizes - and as I said before, this is such a lovely way to celebrate YOUR birthday! So generous :) I love the It's a Hoot fabrics - great colors! And the book (#1) looks great. But all your fabrics pictured are great!

Jennifer

Prizes #5 and 6 are my faves!

Alessandra@ Tribal Times

I would love the book because I am literally drowning in fabric scraps and would love to make a quilt using them all! Fabulous giveaways! You rock!

Jennifer

Oops, forgot to post my resolution ... clean up the sewing room and carve out a half-day of sewing every week.

Stephanie

Wow, what a fantastic giveaway. I would LOVE to win #5. Its a hoot has to be my very favorite!! I would also like #1. I have heard such great things about this book. ---- My resolution would be to start what I finish. I adore piecing quilt tops and I love quilting them but the basting is in between and I really don't like that so they sit all nice and pieced for quite awhile. I want to work on basting as soon as I finish instead of going on to piece another quilt. :0)

Tough choices! I like #1 & #6 best I think. With twins on the way, I may not get much sewing done this year, but I'm working on it now while things are a bit quieter!

Sheree,
Sent you an e-mail with my address. Checking in to see if you have received it. You can e-mail me @ stellagirl4962@bellsouth.net if you didn't receive it. Thanks again. Jackie

Hi and Happy Birthday! I have #1, of course, but I totally love #5 so bright and lovely, but #6 is divine. My sewing 2011 plan is to use more solids in my projects so those shot cottons would suit me fine. Thanks for the giveaway!

Sarah

Wow! All these prizes look great! I would love to win #1 (have it on my book wishlist already) or #5- such a great line. Thanks for the chance.

I'd be thrilled to win any of your great giveway prizes, but am more thrilled that I'm not too late to win the book. With a gift card I got for Christmas, I ordered a copy of Elizabeth Hartman's book “The Practical Guide to Patchwork”, but after waiting several weeks for it on backorder, Barnes & Noble canceled my order and said that they could no longer get the book. That left me bummed.

My quilting resolutions for 2011 are to develop needleturn applique and free motion quilting skills. I'd like to finish more UFO's, but am not going to commit to that.

Hello,
I discovered your blog and shop today while searching on Pattern Review who among the Houstonians have a blog. I'm happy I found yours! The fabrics you carry are gorgeous.
My favorite prizee is the #5, with the cute Moda It's a Hoot collection.
My main sewing resolution? Finish garments before it's too late to wear them!!
Thank you for the giveaway!

Deece

I would love #6 or #5.
My sewing resolution for 2011 is to complete a minimum of 1 project per month from my list of works in progress. I made the goal for January and I have a project at the to be quilted stage for Feb. I have also done a number of small projects that were not on my list so I am not counting them towards my goal. Anyway, this is my year to get stuff done! :)

Cass

I'd be very happy to win any of the prizes although my fave is definitely the Moda's It's A Hoot Collection. Oh the polka dots! :)
I am a beginner to sewing and quilting so this year I want to complete my first (small) quilt.
Thanks for your kind giveaways.
Hugs, Cass

Sara

Oh, I would love to win any of your prizes - but, have to say #5 and #6 would be my favorites...

I have resolved this year to finish some of my UFOs

Wow! Talk about a generous giveaway! I think my preference would be for #6...although #5 is a close second. :)

My sewing resolution for this year is pretty simple. Do more of it! I've got a ton of ideas percolating in my head, but I never seem to actually get started on any of them!

I'm glad to hear that 40 is going well so far!

just checking to make sure my comment worked. (never know). it's the shot cottons that lead me to you site, so its so cool you are having a giveaway. i have been trying to get my hands on those beauties for a while! best birthday wishes and best wishes for your move.

Patricia

Hi!! I believe that any of these prizes will be make a happy winner!
I promise myself this year that I'll take some time to sew every week, simply because it makes me relaxed!
So far, so good...

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.

My Shops

  • Be sure to stop by my website to see all my handmade goods available for sale in the boutique, as well as a host of fabrics, patterns, yarn and more available in the creativity shop!
