Hello Friends,
I wanted to stop by today to, well, say HI! Boy, do I miss this space! I am slowing getting my bearings being a real brick and mortar shop owner (smiles!), getting the flow of school days and afterschool activities and all that volunteer and mommy stuff, and then find time to be in cyberspace sharing and chatting with all of you! Finding time to sit still and just write and share is certainly the hardest for me right now. I've realized that I need to just sit and do it. I walk past the computer so often with a thought or image that I want to share, but then I think, well, I need to take a picture of that, and I need to find that link...you know..goes on and on, and next thing I know 5 weeks have gone by! Seriously. I need to stop that. So, here I am just sayin' HELLO and sharing a few pictures from summer.
We adopted two little kittens back in May! They were 8 weeks old when we got them and are just adorable...two sisters...really cute as can be...really! I am not even a "cat person" and they had me at Hello! (That's my niece/God daugther in the picture with Leah...she came and stayed with us for a few days in June and we did alot of crafting when we were not playing with the cats...the girls are wearing matching tee shirts that they made.)
Lucas learned to sew! Leah did alot of the teaching...she loves to teach just like her momma! Both kids really enjoy hanging out in my new shop...which makes momma very happy!
We celebrated hubby's birthday with the Queen of Soul...Ms. Aretha Franklin. She is just FAB!!
Starting to hang quilts and bedding on the walls in my shop!
Visited Tawas State Park...just gorgeous!
My sweeties on the first day of school!
I hope you all enjoyed your summers (or winters for all of you down under!). Have a joy-filled day!
Hugs,
Sheree

Hi Sheree!
Knew you must be crazy busy and glad you found some time to give us a quick update. Hope things are going well with your new store. The quilts on the wall look gorgeous - as do your growing sweeties. Wow. Leah and Lucas are getting so grown-up!
Take care.
