Hey Friends,
I hope you all are enjoying a great weekend. The weather is fantastic here and while I am having fun at the shop, I have to admit I can hardly wait to lock the doors and head home to enjoy some fun in the sun!
I wanted to quickly share some It's Sew Easy news with you all. This message was sent to me from the It's Sew Easy producers, and I wanted to pass it along to you all.
"On March 30, It’s Sew Easy began broadcasting weekly on itsseweasytv.com. Each
week a new episode will be broadcast starting Friday at noon until the
following Friday – then a new episode will be broadcast. We will not
archive the episodes - we want to encourage people to visit the website
each week. Anyone can view the episode at any time all week long by
visiting the website and DVD’s are available there as well.
Episode 113 of It’s Sew Easy will begin airing on June 22 at noon. Rebecca
Cornell and Christy Howden open the show with felting techniques for a fun
toy. Next, Tricia Waddell and Katrina Loving have a mom friendly tip for
reinforcing seams for heavy wear on stuffed animals and clothing. Then,
Sheree Schattenmann creates a simple duvet for a baby’s room. Angela Wolf
wraps up the show and the first season of It’s Sew Easy showing how to
distress jeans for a fashion look suitable for kids, teens, and moms."
I know many of you have not been able to watch the shows on TV, as your local PBS stations have not picked up the show yet. Now you can wathc online! And remember, if you want the show to air in your viewing area, you need to email, call, and/or write your local PBS station and ask them to please, please pick up the show! Season 3 will actually be kicking off this summer. I am a part of 2 episodes. And then I plan to head down in August to tape for Season 4. I will of course keep you all posted on the new shows. But in the meantime, get over to www.itsseweasytv.com and start getting caught up from Season 1!
Okay, I have to get back to work.
I wish you all a happy, creative and sun-filled weekend!
Hugs,
Sheree
