Hi would love to WIN!

Donna S. Jones

Hi! I just finished a muted purple brocade/black velvet 1760s style coat for the husband of a friend. They left for Venice to go to Carnivale the other day! Then I made a dress shirt with French cuffs for my husband out of a lovely lightweight linen in a super-saturated shade of purple. Now I'm working on another dress shirt for a client out of a deep red dupioni silk. It, too will feature French cuffs.

I love to cook and bake, and I wear a lot of black. Therefore I adore aprons.

My next project is McCall 5480-a coat for spring. It's very Audrey Hepburn-looking. The fabric is a yellow/greenish color, and fiber content unknown, but definitely man-made.

Congratulations to the previous winners. Currently I have my finger in too many sewing pies. Right now I'm making tea wallets and potholders. I'm hosting a tea swap that is well underway so secret tea things happening and I just signed up for a spring swap. Dinner tonight is a new crockpot recipe!

Ooooh, I love the fabric with stripes! I want it I want it!!!

Hello, so many beautiful things to giveaway. Right now I am working on getting purses ready for a craft show and a fundraiser for the animals shelter where I volunteer.

I'm currently working on some cloth baby shoes. Everyone I know is having babies. I don't have any pictures posted yet, but they should be up today on Wardrobe Refashion.

Hi all!
What an amazing giveaway. All bundles are great!!
Thank you so much for this oppotunity and congratulations to last winners!

Gwendolyn LeLacheur

Bought a few sewing patterns today--on sale, of course. If I had the money I've spent on patterns all the years I've collected them, I could put my grandson through college!

Wow! These gifts are so cool.
Thank you so much for these terrific giveaways.

I want to make a patchwork skirt next but I don't know if I'll have the patience to finish it.. :( .. I still want those fabrics! :D

I just finished a skirt for my niece. It's just a simple gathered waistband with a ribbon, hem, but so pretty!

Great giveaway, Sheree***
I'm making lot's of wallets.

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.

My Shops

  • Be sure to stop by my website to see all my handmade goods available for sale in the boutique, as well as a host of fabrics, patterns, yarn and more available in the creativity shop!
