Happy birthday to your daughter!
This week I actually got some crafting done and was able to assemble the blocks for my Doll Quilt Swap #6 quilt and hopefully I also get to put the blocks together for my Aunt Dianna's quilt. I have not taken photos of the current projects but I do have a crafty blog that I keep semi-updated. arnden.blogspot.com

it looked as if my post was put under someone else's name ... so, here it is again:

I am currently sewing up some notepad keepers and trying to learn to crochet!

Happy Birthday to your Daughter! My 3 babies turned 8 in January! Oh! where does time go?

Hi Sheree, please do tell Leah happy birthday for me! Have fun with your family next week!

wauh....what a room....it looks like a true fabric treasure where you constantly are inspired by all the wonderful fabrics surrounding you.

i do quilt.... crazy quilt but i'm mostly a knitter.....something i learned as a very young girl. when i move to the US in 2000 and took my first quilting classes and started my fabric stash.

Busy sewing things for a little person who is coming to stay with me.

Happy belated birthday to your daughter!

I've recently become addicted to knitting socks. Started with some relatively inexpensive patterning yarns from chain craft stores, and just dipped a toe into to the higher end hand dyed stuff ... (heck the labor time makes these socks worth around $200 what's an additional 10 spent on good yarn from an independent shop owner?) ... no pictures yet. OH and HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH! my niece will be 8 in June.

Happy 8th Birthday to Leah! Enjoy your day!!!
I've been sick so not too much creativeness going on!
I did make a block for Project Improv and joined Oh Fransson's Mod Quilt Along...

Happy Belated Birthday to Leah, my two youngest turned eight this past Fall and yes they grow up way too fast!

I know I am late in commenting but I had to add my personal "WOW" to your craft room. I would never get anything done with all of that fabric b/c I would just keep touching and admiring it all!! Past week I took a beginners quilting class and then visited my sister in TX.

Happy Birthday to your sweet girl! She is beautiful! My craftiness is on my blog, but I am working even harder on baby to be's nursery! No pictures yet, but hopefully by next we will be done!

I drool whenever I see these stacks and stacks of delicious fabrics. What a joy it must be to just step into this room-lol.

Hope all is well.

I have a serious case of envy looking at your studio space and fabric stash!

Not much crafting so far this week. My work is requiring a lot from me right now. But this is my blog post on my more recent activity:

Happy Birthday to your beautiful daughter!

Oh, Sheree! You are living in Fabric Heaven! What a wonderful room! Happiest of Birthdays to your darling 8 year old! My son turned 8 in November! It is looking like a fabulous year so far for him and I wish your dear one the same!

I haven't had tons of time to do crafing this week but I have received a few crafty packages and blogged about the first one - all the way from Japan!
Hugs from Emily

Happy birthday!!!!!
Time goes so fast and they grow up so quickly, enjoy each day with them. I wish you lots of fun on the birthday party!

Thanks for the chance. Awesome giveaway!

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.
