Wow -- seeing your fabric makes me just drool. I would probably use some of them to make some doll-size quilts, love the purse patterns, I 'd have to give this a try as well. This fabric just looks like so much fun.

Oh, wow, what a brilliant giveaway! I would love to come to your house and just raid that scrap box :-)

A big congratulations on all the wonderful news, too. I've been looking into a studio lately and am super in love with yours! Great find :-) That natural light makes me drool!

And good luck with finishing the patterns- I know it's a whole different way of looking at sewing so my thoughts are with you on that one. I'm sure they'll be wonderful.

I'm glad I found your blog!! xx

I would sit and look at them forever then one day an idea would pop into my head and I would CUT. Just like that!
PS I've blogged about you too.

Your studio looks great, I'm very jealous. I would love to receive some scraps... I would use them for some bags and maybe some ruffles to pretty up the kids clothes...

Whew! I'm exhausted from just reading about how busy you are Sheree! I promise I would make as many bags from that gorgeous pattern as possible - I'm crazy into bags this year. I'm also on your mailing list.
Continued success to you.

I would incorporate the scraps into a wonderful quilt and also make some small patchwork pouches - such great fabrics. I am also on your mailing list.

i would 1st use the pattern and make a couple of those bags. I'm thinking about some patchwork panels that might work with the pattern side panels. and I just love love love scrappy quilts, maybe there would be some to use in the challenge quilt i am working on (my first guild contest entry).

Renee E

I love that patch tiered skirt set and the giddy up too!!
I would love the scraps. I could make a quilted journal cover or a fabric scrappy scarf, (my daughter wants to sew one of these for herself.

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.
