The pink/cream vintage trim is gorgeous! It would make a lovely border on a baby quilt or trim around a dress for a little girl.

Carol in E TN

I would buy the Kaffe Fassett fat quarters to add to my collection that I have. I want to make several quilts with all the FQ's that I have!

Bryanna

I love the Japanese cupcakes print! I am making myself an all japanese print quilt that it would look great with!

Wendy

I would get some nicey Jane to make some dresses for my daughter!

ashley

I do love the nicey jane fabrics, and I have yet to make a quilt out of them. I think my favorite is the Hop Dot - I see it making a great backing! Thanks for another great giveaway!

Barbara

oh, the Plum Blossoms Mixed FQ Bundle is to die for and would make an incredible contemporary mini-quilt !

Your store is simply stunning and I envy your daughter all the gorgeous clothes you make for her ! Your sense of color is simply the best

Tong

I love those peas and carrots prints, and of course, the FMF prints. I missed both collections because I started sewing a little too late =( They will work great with the fabrics I have already pulled from my stash for the 2 quilting bees I'm in. I'm asking for wonky star blocks and scrappy string blocks.

Tina in Boston

Hi Sheree! I would like to win the Retro Blue & Brown Flowers Fat Quarter Bundle. I think it would make some great potholders for my kitchen!

melody webb

Love the soft colors! I'd use this fat quarter bundle to make my own 4-fat-quarter cinch sack pattern which is for sale in my Etsy shop. Since this bundle has 5 fat quarters, I would probably add a zipper pocket on the inside or maybe make a cell phone pouch for the outside!

Hannah

I love the Nicey Jane Swing Toss fabric. I would make some dresses for my little girls with it.

Ravenhill

Using a gift certificate in your lovely shop would be no problem, I would start with this delightful grouping: http://shereesalchemy.com/item_479/Heather-Ross-Lightning-Bugs-Fat-Quarter-Bundle-Daisies.htm

I would use it in a quilt. :D
happy sewing day to you! hugs from Emily

I love that red and white fabrics bundle--it's gorgeous!

Cheryl

Hi Sheree!
I love all the items in your store and on your website. Your patterns are lovely!
If I won your gift certificate I would have a difficult time choosing between Plumeria and Nicey Jane in pink. I would love to make my daughter a sundress with either of these color collections.

Sara

I would love the Moda Arcadia FQ Bundle 2 - and I would add the fabric to the other turquoise fabrics I have to make a quilt...

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.

My Shops

  • Be sure to stop by my website to see all my handmade goods available for sale in the boutique, as well as a host of fabrics, patterns, yarn and more available in the creativity shop!
