I love Amy Butler fabric. I have some pillow designs I would use the fabric on. I met you at the Houston Show. You were so nice and took your time to cut all our fat quarters. I ran across the Moda fabric the other day and I seriously need to do something with it. I teach a fiber arts class at a high school and I am constantly looking for small ideas the students can do.

Hi Sheree! Hope you're soon recovered and back to enjoying summer.
Would you believe that I'm in the initial stages of planning out a re-do for my bed linens AND I want to use Amy's fabrics (combining Daisy Chain and Love)? So, did you read my mind or what? LOL

I'm a big Amy fan and I find ways to use up even the smallest pieces. Recently I was needing birthday cards so I raided my teensy sized scrap stash to make scrappy cards.
You always have the most fantastic giveaways, Sheree! I'm crossing my fingers in hopes of winning this one. ;o)

You're so sweet Sheree, What a wonderful giveaway!!!
Actually I'm working on a pair of wallets to give as a present and baby quilt for a lovely work mate. She will be grandma for the first time and doesn't know I'm making a quilt (hope she likes it!).
If I won I would like to make a quilt for me this time ;p. My favourite past c0llection by Amy Butler is Belle but the incoming "Soul Blossoms" is awesome love all those colours. Designs remember me to Kaffe Fassett but more freshly.

Hooray, thanks for another chance to win! I have been up to a lot of traveling, and now, finally back home and having cleaned up, I am able to get near the sewing machine.... eager to catch up on patchworking!!!! My fave AB-pattern ever is the coriander-print. Never before, never since have I seen anything so perfect!

I actually just finished a quilt for a wedding gift that was made out of Amy's older lines! They are so gorgeous. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Welcome back Sheree! Thanks for blogging about us last month at your studio. I'm going to need some more Arcadia soon.

Great giveaway! I'm going to Italy next Spring, so I can't wait to see your pics!
Thanks! -Elena

Fun! I'm finally finishing up my first quilt, which I started over a year ago. I need to square it up and put on the binding. So close!

Italy must have been lovely! I get such a 'feel' thinking about Italy, I can't describe it. Can't wait to see pictures!
I've been in baby gear mode lately. Made a few nursing covers and burp cloths for new babies and I have my own grandson due in Sept., so need to finish up the quilt I started for him before he was even conceived! HOw's that for wishful thinking!?

I'm having a hard time commenting...keep getting an error. Don't know where the D. came from but I'm SHelley C

I'm working on a donation quilt using Tufted Tweets. Man, I love working with that fabric. *S*

However, I'd also love working with those A.B. scraps. Let's face it - I'm just a fabric lover.

I'm working on a quilt for our bed. I'm hoping to have it completed by this weekend to send it off to the quilter!

Wow - what a great collection of scraps!! What would I do with all of those? Well I signed up for my first virtual bee and these would be perfect to send out for my blocks.

What a neat giveaway, Sheree! I'd love to make a postage stamp quilt with those scraps!

Scraps of Amy Butler would be so awesome to have! I have been saving my scraps for so long now to make a huge patchwork scrap quilt where every fabric is used only once! Thanks for the chance!

Congrats to the winners! I love using scraps to make lots of things like patchwork quilts :)

Scraps are truly fun _ the Amy Butler and others look lovely, Isn't amazing how other people's scraps are better than the ones you already have in ones collection. Thanks for another opportunity to win your new giveaway.

Congratulations to your winners- they are lucky ladies.
I recently finished a Trip around the World quilt. I have just begun summer vacation so I hope to get some quilting done over the summer.

About Me

  • Hello! Welcome and Thank You for stopping by my blog! Here, I share a bit about how I Live, what makes me Laugh, what I Love and things I Create! I am a chemist by training (I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry), but instead of mixing up chemicals in a lab, I spend my days mixing up fabrics to create lovely clothing and accessories! When my daughter was born, my desire to climb the corporate ladder was succumbed by my desire to mother, so I hung up my labcoat and resigned from my job. I miss my days in the lab, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new job as a pattern and clothing designer and maker of lovely things! I am launched a new line of contemporary sewing and quilting patterns and I run an online fabric shop as well as a small online boutique where I sell my handmade goods. Here in this space, I share bits of my days, things I love and of course talk way too much about fabric and design.

  • Be sure to stop by my website to see all my handmade goods available for sale in the boutique, as well as a host of fabrics, patterns, yarn and more available in the creativity shop!
