Hey Folks,
Has it really been like 6 weeks since my last post? I tell you, I keep thinking I'll fall back into a posting groove and then I end up vanishing for weeks. Life is just so full (I know you all can relate) and I have such a ridiculous amount of work to get done all the time (again, I know you all can relate, right!). So these pauses happen. I miss writing in this little space though, and sharing with you all! I really do!
Anyway, I am back today with a quick reminder that May's 3rd Saturday event is tomorrow! I'll be in my studio with my doors open from 1-5pm. You can go here to get directions, a map and read more about 3rd Saturdays!
These 3rd Saturday events seem to be coming up so fast...it feels like it was just last week that we had the April event! Seriously!
Well, I have a very long blog post in the works that will review some of the things that have been happening around here over the last several weeks. I'll share that next time. For now, I just wanted to quickly share some lovely items I made and sent off to New York to a wonderful fabric company this week. They'll be appearing next week at Quilt Market in Minnesota! I won't be there personally, but I am excited that some of my garments from my new sewing pattern collection will be there!
Emma Dress in Owl and Apples Fabrics
Party Skirt 3-tiered skirt and tee in Owl and Apple fabrics.
Party Skirt and applique tee in Acorn fabrics.
Emma Dress in Poppy Lane Fabric
Emma Dress in Botanica Fabrics
I had so much fun working with these fabrics! I am working on even more items from other fabric collections from Timeless Treasures, as I received a box load of just really gorgeous prints. I'll share more in a few weeks when I do a larger feature and giveaway with them (It's going to be a fabulous one that you won't want to miss!!!).
But for now I want to share just a bit of these fabrics with one of you! Here is what is up for grabs....7 fat quarters pieces, one 1/2 yard piece, and various scraps pieces total from 3 different collections.

poppy lane by alice kennedy
acorn by alice kennedy
To enter for a chance to win, simply head on here, browse around the fabric catalog and then come back here and leave a comment telling us which is your favorite collection. I'll leave this open for 1 week (until Friday, May 21). I'll close comments then and will announce a winner shortly thereafter. Feel free to share this with your friends/blog readers!! :) If you do, leave another comment here with a link to your tweet or blog post for a second entry.
I will tell you that my favorite is Lourdes Sanchez's Botanica (I'll be giving away some of her fabrics in the bigger giveaway I mentioned earlier!)! I am so not even a purple person, but I just love this collection!
Well, I am off. I have to get a few things done before I head off to get the kiddos from school. Remember, if you are local, stop by and visit with me in the studio tomorrow! I'll have more of the Heather Bailey Nicey Jane collection with me, plus lots of other gorgeous fabrics, and more handmade goods as well!
Have a wonderful weekend folks!
Hugs,
Sheree
I gotta agree with ya about the Botanica, but I love purple! Although I also love the Momo by Alice Kennedy. Those owls are so adorable!

Yay, I love it when your newsletter comes and gives me a chance to browse colourufl goodness!
And hooray for yet another giveaway! I absolutely fell for the "Blossom lane"-line over at Timeless Treasures, sooo sunny and springlike, perfect for what we all are longing for here in icecold Scandinavia....
The Poppy collection I've eyed before - and still am....

I like the Razzle Dazzle collections - it's got nice clear colors which would be great as sashing in my next scrap quilt!

I'm a little premature for this, but Holiday Glamour is my favorite. If I start something now I will certainly be done by Christmas! Thank you.

Your pattern designs are great! I'm sure they'll do well at the show...too bad you couldn't be there too.
I liked the Marie Antoinette fabrics...soft, subdued shades...that's me. Those purple botanicals are quite bold and will make some beautiful pieces.

I like Botanica the most too. But I am a "purple person". Poppy Lane is a close second. I am also a "poppy person", it seems.
Thanks for the chance, and congrats on all the great dresses!

I absolutely love Becky Kelly Friends & Fairies Cuddle Flannel. I am the director of the Gala for the charity, Dreams Take Flight, an amazing charity, and I have two wonderful ladies who are going to sew some quilts for me to add to the silent auction at the Gala. This line would be so amazing and I know the quilts will look beautiful and will be an amazing addition to my auction.
